DR. FARID MENAA(Biography)
Dr. Farid Menaa is an inter- and multi-disciplinary professional with worldwide reputation. He has three international post-doctoral terms in Oncology, Dermatology, and Hematology; MBA Entrepreneurship and MD candidate. During his ongoing career, he has mainly contributed to the identification and functions of new human disease-causing genes and variants, formulated natural products for anti-aging and developed innovative theranostic strategies against cancers, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, obesity and infectious diseases. He has more than 10 years’ experiences either in the academic, hospitals or industrial sectors. As Chief Scientific Officer and Vice-President R&D at Fluorotronics, Inc. he actively participated in the development of the disruptive “Carbon-Fluorine Spectroscopyâ€. Dr. Menaa collaborates with various organizations worldwide. He is a member of several prestigious medical and scientific organizations and editorial boards in the field of medicine, science, technology and business, including in the nano-segment. He has authored more than 100 articles including research and review articles, books, book chapters, textbooks, proceedings, and has participated to over 200 scientific international events including as co-organizer, keynote speaker, chairman. Dr. Menaa’s worldwide collaborations, holistic point of view and strong expertise in various fields led him to prevent, implement early diagnosis, and develop efficient and safer therapy.

Denis Dufrane (Biography)
Denis Dufrane has completed his MD and PhD in cell therapy in 2000 and 2006, respectively, from the University catholique de Louvain. He developed a translational “bench to bedside†model from relevant preclinical animal models to clinical practice. He was, up to 2015, the head of the Tissue and Cell Therapy Center at the university clinical hospital Saint-Luc, Brussels, Belgium and Professor at the Université catholique de Louvain. He is currently the chief scientific officer and the co-founder of Novadip Biosciences and the chief of the Cell/Tissue Therapy unit at the Grand hospital de Charleroi (Belgium). Denis has published more than 51 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals in cell therapy and adipose stem cells, presented 39 invited lectures and has more than 120 communications and patents with more than 1700 citations.

Peter trained at Cambridge University under the supervision of the co-inventor of IVF and Nobel Laureate Professor Sir Bob Edwards FRS. His PhD was in stem cell technology. His post-doctoral position was as a Senior Embryologist at Bourn Hall Clinic which was the first IVF clinic in the world. Peter has been the Scientific Director of Cells for Life in Toronto and Smart Cells in the UK and was HTA Designated Individual for Smart Cells. He has carried out research in stem cell technology and has written numerous papers and book chapters on stem cell technology. He has been an invited speaker to many international conferences including personal invitations to speak twice at the Vatican, the UK House of Lords and The Canadian Parliament. Peter also has experience in creating new stem cell technology labs and the related accreditation and regulatory aspects of stem cell labs. Peter is currently developing a new stem cell laboratory for Wide Cells Ltd at the University of Manchester Innovation Centre. He is currently the Chief Scientific Officer of Wide Cells Ltd and Dean of Wide Academy.
